Security

The Security section lets users manage access credentials, monitor active sessions, and protect their account against unauthorized access.

Security interface

To ensure security, the new password must meet these criteria:

  • Minimum 8 characters.
  • At least one lowercase letter (a-z).
  • At least one uppercase letter (A-Z).
  • At least one number (0-9).
  • Recommended: special characters (!@#$%^&*).

The system evaluates password strength in real time:

  1. Enter your current password for identity verification.
  2. Enter the new password, validated in real time.
  3. Confirm the new password; both values must match.
  4. Click “Change Password”.
  • Passwords are hashed before storage.
  • The current password is verified before allowing changes.
  • After the change, all active sessions are invalidated except the current one.
  • An audit event is recorded in the security log.
  • Do not use personal information such as name or birth date.
  • Change your password periodically, every 3–6 months.
  • Do not reuse passwords from other platforms.
  • Use a password manager for stronger security.

This section shows all active sessions for your account across devices and browsers, allowing you to identify and terminate unrecognized sessions.

  • Browser and version, for example Google Chrome 141, Firefox 134, Safari 17.
  • Operating system, for example Windows 10/11, macOS 14, Android 13.
  • IP address, with approximate location.
  • Geographic location, when available.
  • Last activity, for example X minutes/hours/days ago.
  • “Current” badge for the active session.
